The current ache...

Facebook is starting to hurt my soul. I had a complete "friend" cull today, got rid of a bunch of people that i had a: only been acquaintances with and haven't really spoken with and b: I haven't bothered my arse speaking to, nor they bothered speaking to me for months and months, even years. So I thought sod it, I am sick to death of seeing these peoples updates on my news feed even though I had hidden almost all of them anyway, and bit the bullet and got rid of some... well 50-ish to be exact, and managed to get my "friend" count to below 300, which made me feel much better.

on other news, my Polaroid project is going rather well, I have so far taken a Polaroid everyday since the 15th July, (my Birthday) and hopefully it will continue for a little while longer before I run out of money.

Not too long until I get back to Derby... absolutely cannot wait. Iv even been dreaming about it and Iv been making a list of things to bring back with me. I still have over a month to go, but I can never be too organized.

Finally, only 6 more sleeps until I have a 6 day adventure in York with my lovely man.

It's been a while...

I am going to take a wee moment to rant about the oil spill.... BP seriously, what a mess. Won't someone think of the poor wildlife!

Photos with a twist...

So it's my birthday this week... hooray for being yet another year older. But I was thinking to myself what have I actually achieved this year? apart from my relationship crisis, and finally getting to university after a long hold of poor decision making... I find it difficult to reflect because my memory is so poor, and whether it may be because I don't want to remember things which have happened, and I have suppressed, (typical safety mechanism)...

The end of a relationship which was controlling every aspect of my life.

Aside from the bad, what good has become of this year?

I started University...

I am doing a course which I love very much...

I get to do the thing I love everyday, and I am trying to keep it loved as opposed to a chore...

I started a new relationship with a wonderful human being (Mister Chris) Yay for Love <3


So as I enter my second year of university, I have to try and think of some kind of content for my degree show at the end of third year, (I like to be well prepared, well in advance)

Photography is my passion, Lust and Love all rolled into one. When I come home from my space at university, a space where I have become comfortable and inspired. I find myself unsettled, angry and upset... I think I need to put this to use...

So for my birthday this year Mister Chris has got me a Polaroid camera! O.K so your thinking "A Polaroid, blimey, how old fashioned" well precisely and what better than to do a photo project with... A Polaroid a day

Keep the memories of every day of the year from birthday to birthday 22 to 23, 2010 to 2011... It might not feature in my degree show but whatever I think it would be something interesting to work on. Expensive but interesting.
